The gates were erected by Captain Edward George Spencer-Churchill M.C. D.L. in memory of Flight Lieutenant Douglas Langham born June 28th 1923, died over Germany February 15th 1944 He died young for England and this tells of his valour and of Arthur Wadey Born January 31st 1910 died February 24th 1964 for forty years an invaluable colleague and friend both deeply regretted June 1964 |
