Rubery and Rednal War Memorial

Located in front of the Royal British Legion on New Road, Rubery at its junction with Legion Road
The memorial consists of four black marble tablets
The central tablet has the following inscription

LEST WE FORGET
IN MEMORY OF
THE MEN AND WOMEN OF
RUBERY AND REDNAL
WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
IN THE SERVICE OF
THEIR COUNTRY


There is a smaller tablet placed at an angle in front of the above with the following

THIS STONE WAS LAID
50 YEARS AFTER WORLD II
TO COMMEMORATE ALL MEMBERS
OF H.M. FORCES WHO HAVE DIED
IN SERVICE SINCE 1945
