A tablet of a polished, veined black stone (marble?). On that, a representation in brass of a cross, with two rifles propped up against it, at the base of the cross a scroll, bearing the words:

FREDERICK KNOTT JOSEPH LEE
ALFRED RUDGE
REGINALD RUDGE
FREDERICK SKEYS WILLIAM WOOD
OF THIS PARISH WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR
1914 – 1918


Note: Private 8321 Reginald Rudge, 2nd Battn. Worcestershire Regiment, killed 16th May 1916: no known grave, listed on Le Touret Memorial, Pas de Calais, France. Lived at Wadborough: his sister had married Alfred Porter, of Pershore, who had been taken POW


Beneath one of the windows is a brass plate, with this inscription:

TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF
CHARLES WHITMORE ISAAC CAPTAIN 38th REGT. SON OF THE RECTOR OF
THIS PARISH. HE DIED AT KILDARE IRELAND MAY 3RD 1879 AGED 32 YEARS
