In the grounds of the church. Constructed of the local redstone of a cross
mounted on a pillar set in a square base.
The inscriptions are engraved on four stone tablets, one set on each side of
the base, the stone on the front contains the dedication;-
TO THE GLORY OF GOD
IN THE MEMORY OF THE HARTLEBURY MEN WHO
GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY
“THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE”
