War Memorial

This memorial is about fifty yards down the road from the church, in front of the Post Office, by the old Eckington cross, on a small area with grass and flower beds surrounded by a chain link fence.
The war memorial was unveiled by Canon Ismay on April 18th 1920

  1. Jesse Thomas Nind (Private 27761 1st/7th Bn. Worcester Regiment) died 11 Oct 1918 age 33. Married to Mrs. A.J. Nind of Myrtle Cottage, Eckington. Buried in Barenthal Military Cemetery, Italy Plot 2, Row B, grave II.
