The memorial in the churchyard is a sandstone Celtic Cross on a plinth
with three tiers about four feet square at the base, the whole about nine
feet tall. On the west-facing base of the Cross is the following inscription:
In grateful memory of H James Cotterill,
George Cotterill, Samuel Cotterill,
William J Childs, and Charlie Worth.
Who died for us in the Great War for right 1914-1919.
They gave of their lives unto the death.
On the east-facing base of the Cross is the following inscription:
1939-1945 Cedric Ballinger
