Sacred to the memory of Christian Mary Raper who fell asleeep in Jesus September 16th 1858 aged 54 years and of Tomothy Raper Esqre. Late Lieut. Col. of her Majesty’s 19th Regiment of Foot who died July 22nd 1862 aged 72 years |
War memorial
This is in the centre of the war memorial garden to one side of the churchyard.
It is a crucifix on an octagonal stepped base. The eight panels read:
