The memorial consists of a framed parchment with the following thereon
There is the figure of a soldier kneeling before a crucified Christ,
on the top there are the words RUMOURS OF WAR
on the side to the right are the words SEE THAT YE BE NOT TROUBLED
, on the side to the left are the words AND YOU SHALL HEAR OF WARS
beneath is the following:
