THE DEAD SHALL BE RAISED INCORRUPTIBLE AND WE SHALL BE CHANGED 1 COR XV 25 IN MEMORY OF CHARLES WADE CRUMP LIEUTENANT OF ARTILLERY IN THE MADRAS ARMY AND MAJOR OF BRIGADE UNDER GENL. DIR HY. LOVELOCK K.C.B. HE WAS KILLED AT LUCKNOW IN THE PERFORMANCE OF A DANGEROUS SERVICE 26TH SEPTEMBER 1857 AGED 32 YEARS HE MARIED 10TH DECEMBER 1856 AUGUSTA DAUGHTER OF NATAHNIEL KEMP ESQRE ALSO OF JOHN ROBERT CRUMP WHO DIED OF CHOLERA 17TH SEPTER 1854 AGED 24 YEARS, THE ABOVE WERE THE ONLY SONS OF CHARRS. COLLINS CRUMP B.A. RECTOR OF HOLFORD AND SARAH HIS WIFE DAUGHTER WADE BROWN ESQRE. |
