Note: Private 39659 William James Burford, of the 1st/7th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment has a memorial on his mother’s grave in Pershore Cemetery He died on 31st October 1918, aged 22. Son of William and Martha Ainsworth Burford, of Caldewell Lodge, Stoulton

The Oak Panelling and Carvings to the Chancel of this Church were given by Edward Lillingston and Isabel Mylius in Memory of their elder son John Kingsford Mylius, Grandson of Rev. Hamilton Kingsford, M.A. Vicar of this parish for 45 years and Lieutenant 1st Battalion the King’s Shropshire Light Infantry who fell in action on the Somme Oct 12th 1916 Aged 21 years “Lord, make him to be numbered with Thy Saints in glory everlasting” |
