In the churchyard:
There are a number of military graves in the churchyard, some from the two World Wars, and a number of others. The Norton Barracks is located at the other end of the village, and so account for a number of non-wartime burials, and the burials of men who did not originate from this parish.
Much of the the Barracks site was disused for a number of years, before a large part was demolished and replaced by new houses in the mid-1990s.
