This is a framed roll of honour on paper; there is a picture of a WW I
soldier, but no mention of whether it is a listing of those that died, or
those that fought in the war. However, Michael Beard has informed me that his
grandfather and uncle, George Beard Sr. & Jr., listed on the roll, were not
killed; so this is a listing of all those serving in WWI

A cross by the churchyard gate, facing the road has this inscription:
TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN UNDYING MEMORY OF THE MEN OF GUARLFORD WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918 AND IN WORLD WAR 1939-1945 MAY THEY REST IN PEACE |
