In the church grounds. The memorial is constructed from a red stone, it
consists of a cross atop a pillar which is mounted on a square block which
itself is on top of three steps.
The following inscription is on the front of the square block:
TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN GRATEFUL AND UNDYING MEMORY OF THE MEN FROM THIS PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918 ALSO TO THOSE THAT FELL IN THE WORLD WAR 1939-1945 |

At the base of the square block on the front is the following inscription:
THESE WERE HIS SERVANTS IN HIS STEPS THEY TROD
FOLLOWING THROUGH DEATH THE MARTYR SON OF GOD
The dead of WWII have been added to the bottom of the square block on the
left and right side as you look at the memorial from the front:

In the wall beneath the memorial some of the bricks have been replaced by a
stone tablet with the following inscription:
O SAVIOUR DIDST DIE FOR ALL REMENMBER IN THY MERCY THOSE WHO DIED FOR US 1914-1918 1939-1945 |
