In a frame, an illuminated scroll, with a what appears to be a picture of
St George slaying the dragon (though the poem quoted is, I think, something
from Tennyson(?) referring to Sir Galahad(?)).
Note that one man’s rank has been struck out on the manuscript, and a higher
rank substituted.
