There is a wooden cross hanging on an interior wall. It has a series of metal strips nailed to it, which have letters embossed with a punch. They read:

There are inscriptions carved on the stone to either side of a window in
the church. They read:
REMEMBER HUGO FRANCIS ALFRED HENRY CHARTERIS LORD BUGGINS * FRANK ELCHO * IVO ALAN BUGGINS * HENRY CHARTERIS CHARLES THOMBS CHARLES RICHARD HUBERT THOMBS GERALD MITCHELL ERNEST JAMES AND FRED STARKEY TOWNSEND WHO FELL IN THE WILLIAM JAMES GREAT WAR EWINGTON AND 1914 - FRANCIS LANE 1918
And attached to the window sill itself is a bronze plaque with the
following:

A Bronze statue by the roadside on a Cotswold stone pillar. The statue
depicts St George slaying the dragon. Going anticlockwise round the four sides
of the plinth, we have:
