St. Peter’s Church, Stanway Ordnance Survey Reference: SP 061323 War Memorials

There is a wooden cross hanging on an interior wall. It has a series of metal strips nailed to it, which have letters embossed with a punch. They read:

There are inscriptions carved on the stone to either side of a window in the church. They read:

A Bronze statue by the roadside on a Cotswold stone pillar. The statue depicts St George slaying the dragon. Going anticlockwise round the four sides of the plinth, we have:
