WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE
WORLD WAR 1939-1945

There is a small stained glass section in one of the windows of the church, bearing the following inscription: These pieces of stained glass were found by Cpl. O. Mace H.L.I. among the ruins of the Church of Villers-Butonneux destroyed by the Germans in the Great War in the year 1918 and were brought home and inserted here by him as a thanksgiving memorial.
